Ed Shaerf

Executive Chef

Ed trained at Westminster Kingsway College achieving a professional chef's diploma in food & wine with merit. He left college and worked for Gordon Ramsay at Claridges under the guidance of Marc Sargeant. At the age of 21 Ed was offered a head chefs position of a local restaurant entering the Michelin guide for the three years he worked there.

 

Wanting to further his experience he went to work for The Ivy becoming Senior Sous Chef of the private dining room for a further four years. After gaining investment Ed opened his own restaurant with David Moore, a well established restaurateur holding three Michelin stars across two restaurants. One Blenheim Terrace entered the Michelin guide for three consecutive years whilst Ed was Chef Patron.

 

Having closed the restaurant Ed went to work for Simon Rogan for his new opening Fera becoming head chef of the restaurants prep kitchen with the restaurant being awarded a Michelin star in its first year of opening.

 

Ed relocated to Manchester and spent 5 years working for a large kosher catering company as head development chef. He then went on to open his kosher catering company in Manchester ’Feast by Ed Shaerf’ for a further 5 years.
